How does EFT work? EFT is based on
the idea that all negative emotions is caused by a disruption in the body’s
energy system. EFT has been likened to “acupuncture without needles.” In EFT specific energy points
of the face, chest and hand are gently tapped with fingertips (by the client or the guide) in a specific pattern while the
client focuses on their specific issue. EFT does not erase the memory of the issue, but it can decrease or eliminate the emotions
associated with the issue. It is possible to attain relief in just a few minutes and results
can be long lasting.
While
working with an experienced EFT practitioner can be most helpful in quickly getting to the heart of issue, EFT can be easily
learned to use for your own self-care.
Ellen
Ferguson RN has extensively trained with Gary Craig and is a professional practitioner of his EFT techniques, attaining the
designation of EFT-CC.
EFT sessions can be successfully done over the telephone
or in-person.
